1. SUHUF: Journal of Qur’anic and Cultural Studies accepts article submissions on a rolling basis. Manuscripts should be submitted online via the SUHUF Journal OJS at: https://jurnalsuhuf.kemenag.go.id/
  2. SUHUF is published twice a year, in June and December.
  3. The journal is accredited at SINTA 3 by the Directorate General of Research and Development Strengthening, Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia. All published articles are assigned a DOI.
  4. The Editorial Board welcomes original scholarly articles and book reviews in the fields of mushaf studies, translation, tafsir, rasm, qira'at, and other Qur’anic sciences. Manuscripts that engage with Indonesian and Southeast Asian contexts are particularly encouraged.
  5. Submitted manuscripts must be new and original works and should be prepared using reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or similar applications.
  6. Manuscripts may be written in Indonesian, English, or Arabic, and must include an abstract in Indonesian (150–200 words) along with 3–5 keywords or key phrases.
  7. Each manuscript should include the author’s institutional affiliation, address, email, and contact number.
  8. The recommended length of the manuscript is approximately 6,000 words, typed in Times New Roman.
  9. References should follow the APSA citation style, using in-text citations (body notes) (e.g., Saeed 2010: 15) and footnotes for additional explanatory notes.   10. Arabic–Latin transliteration must follow the 1987 Joint Decree of the Minister of Religious Affairs and the Minister of Education and Culture. Transliterated characters should be inserted using the ‘Symbol’ feature in Microsoft Word 2010 or later (Insert - Symbol - More Symbols - select the appropriate transliteration characters).
  11. All submitted manuscripts will undergo a peer-review process.
