Authorship and Contributorship

We consider that the author(s) of an article should provide transparency regarding who contributed to the work and in what capacity, as outlined in COPE guidelines. Authorship should be determined by the genuine contributions made to each article. The International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) recommends that authorship credit be based on substantial contributions to the conception and design, data acquisition, or data analysis and interpretation; drafting the manuscript or critically revising it, and final approval of the version to be published. The order of authorship does not determine the relative contributions of individual authors. The corresponding author must certify that all authors meet authorship standards and provide a brief written description of their contributions to the manuscript. This information offers appropriate context for readers to accurately interpret the roles of the authors. The details of Authorship and Contributorship are explained here.
